Founded by Vida Danauskaite Neves in 2021, VÍDA SKAÍTE is here to put the feminine at the forefront of fashion. We wanted to see more women at the helm of brands, but we’re tired of waiting—we’re seizing the moment for ourselves. From those working in our supply chain to our customers, our mission is to create a regenerative collective of empowered individuals. Together, we aim to create a world where artfully crafted pieces and sustainability go hand in hand.
We’ve created VÍDA SKAÍTE as an offering of beauty and reclamation. Our pieces are inspired by those who wear them and are timelessly crafted to last across the seasons. We design with minimalism in mind, allowing our European background to inform our visions. The VÍDA SKAÍTE woman knows how to make every item her own, allowing her unique expression to bring our brand to life.

Sustainability
VÍDA SKAÍTE is redefining what fashion means for our planet. Waste is a thing of the past, so our pieces are all made-to-order and can be made-to-measure. While this does extend the amount of time it takes for things to reach you, it also means that everything is uniquely made. When it comes to our fabrics, everything is lush and sustainable, and leftover materials are used to make our hair accessories, face masks, and garment bags. Our production process takes place in a high-vibe setting in DTLA, and all of our packaging is made from recyclable, natural materials. We believe in the power of relationships, which means everyone—from our female-led team to our visual artists to our community—matters. By seeing our brand as a part of a bigger movement, we’re here to bring you clothing with a conscience.
Vida
Born and raised in a small town in Lithuania, Vida’s connection to the natural world began early on. She found herself influenced by the lush landscape around her, as well as the artistry of European designers, and began desiring a life of creative expression. After working in corporate fashion in LA and becoming pregnant with her first son, her dreams got louder—she knew it was time to bring VÍDA SKAÍTE to life.
As a mother and nurturer, Vida believes that women are here to create a new world. With intention and beauty leading everything she does, VÍDA SKAÍTE is a love letter to you and our planet.
